Rock Castle Group St.Emma - St.Francis Alumni

The Rock Castle Group, (aka SEMA/SFDS Alumni Association), is offering scholarship(s) to high school seniors this year June 2025.
Qualifying applicants must have been accepted into an institution of higher learning (two/four-year college, university, technical school, or other accredited institution).
To accomplish this goal, we need your assistance to provide the attached forms to students that may qualify. These forms explain the eligibility criteria and an application for them to complete.

Scholarship Criteria
Rock Castle Group Scholarship
The alumni of St. Emma Military Academy and St. Francis de Sales High School are currently accepting scholarship applications. We will award a scholarship to a qualified high school senior accepted to an institution of higher learning (two or four-year college, university, technical school, or other accredited institutions).
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship:
1. Financial need.
2. Grade point average 2.5 or higher
3. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
Application Requirements:
1. A completed application form.
2. Official high school transcript from school counselor department.
3. Evidence of acceptance to an accredited college/ university or technical school on official school letterhead.
4. Three letters of recommendation from any of the following: church,
community, and/or school. Please return sealed recommendations with
the application postmarked by June 6, 2025, to:

5. Demonstrated leadership with a service project or evidence of community
service.
6. Submission of a one-page essay, choose from the following questions:
a. Who would you say is a role model in your life and explain why you have
selected this person(s).
b. What career path have you chosen and what impact will this have on your
community?
7. Write a paragraph from 150 to 300 words double space stating a personal
quality or trait you possess and value most.
8. All applicants will be notified by e-mail of the final decision by June 20,
2025. The awardees will be contacted by email and registered mail.
